Each year, members of the UKCF network explore new concepts around place-based philanthropy, learning about social barriers, new initiatives and best practice from across community foundations and wider civil society.
In October 2023, our 'Together 23 - Philanthropy Forward: Navigating the Future' conference engaged community foundations and other charities in sessions around climate philanthropy, deploying capital for social change, non-profit recruitment, providing quality philanthropy advice and more. We heard from local givers who have seen the impacts of donating through community foundations to important causes in the places they care about, and we were joined by a fantastic collective of sector experts.
