Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire Community Foundations came together for a Diamond Jubilee Garden Party at the magnificent Greenlands Campus (Henley Business School). The event marked the contribution the River Thames has made to life in the counties that border it, and also raised funds for the community foundations' joint Jubilee appeal. This will be a lasting legacy of the jubilee, enabling a flow of grants to be made long into the future to small community projects across the four areas. Led by Sir Terry Wogan, garden party guests could hang messages on a 'Communitree' to demonstrate the growth and diversity of community foundations
